Description: I grow several clones grown from wild collected seed which was propagated by Shaker Trace Nursery. I am now propagating more myself by hand pollinating, and expect to register and introduce some within the next few years.

Description: This woodland gem produces lavender-blue flowers in springtime. I have had extremely poor luck keeping this species alive in my garden in spite of the local provenance. Perhaps my soil pH is unfavorable.
